Complexity & trends on construction sites

Terradata was invited to share its monitoring experience on today's construction sites at the "Hexagon LIVE DACH+" conference in Wiesbaden (Germany) on April 29/30, 2024.

Using various practical examples, Martin Rub demonstrated the complexity and versatility of today's construction site monitoring. The monitoring dimensions have increased significantly in recent years in terms of the number of sensors, measurement frequency, data volumes, communication technologies (LoRaWAN), type of alerting, short notice regarding installation deadlines, new web technologies, customer requirements regarding reliability or various measured variables such as forces, deformations, inclinations, strains, levels, etc. 
The trend towards interfaces between our monitoring data and construction management platforms was also highlighted.

Thanks to diverse and streamlined communication options, sensor technologies in photogrammetry, geotechnics and geodesy can be automated. All results flow into our TEDAMOS monitoring platform. One of the unique features of the platform is the combination of geodesy, geotechnics and photogrammetry, which has not been available on the market to date.
