Excavation pit monitoring at the Zwicky site in Wallisellen

Continuous measurement monitoring of the Waldhaus NeuGuet construction site

Project: 2016 - 2018, Wallisellen, Switzerland
Client: Steiner AG

The former Zwicky site in Wallisellen is being redesigned. The “Waldhaus NeuGuet” is a 50-meter-high residential tower with 98 condominiums in a new neighborhood. The Zwicky site is surrounded by several sensitive buildings. Among other things, the bridge piers of the SBB viaduct and the excavation pit closures must be closely monitored. A multi-sensor system consisting of a total station, a chain inclinometer, and anchor force measuring cells is used for monitoring. In addition, manual settlement measurements are carried out.
